There’s an imbalance before an illness.
There are subtle changes in the human being before physical changes appear, this is where I want to meet and treat the individual.
My passion lies in finding and enhancing the human potential, rather than acting merely as a paternalistic prescriber of drugs.
After practising general medicine for a number of years, I’ve reached the conclusion my energy levels lowers substantially solely having to prescribe potentially harmful drugs to my patients.
Albeit also healing in most cases, they often have adverse effects too.
I cannot be that one-sided edition of a doctor.
Treating chronic ailments after a ‘tick all boxes method’ has proven an effective system in western medicine, but it doesn’t always take the individual into account.
Being profoundly anchored in evidence-based modern medicine, at the same time I’m deeply fascinated by the spiritual world.
Having a foot in both camps will be of great advantage to my future clients.
Finding Ayurveda
No doubt I was born to help. I’ll never stop helping and healing. It’s in my DNA.
Having spent more than 20 years studying medicine and becoming a specialist,
my enthusiasm is primarily in the holistic natural approach.
By coincidence I went to a small seminar with Dr. Charlotte Bech in 2017.
I instantly realised this had to be part of my future career.
Encountering the Ayurvedic knowledge was like being presented with an almost inexhaustible source of health, balance, calmness and reflexion.
Already a medical doctor it opened up to an immense personal and professional development.
A force encouraging me to look after my patients taking the environment in and around us into account.
Now a few classes off of being a Ayurvedic Health Counsellor via the Bech Academy For Classical Ayurveda, I’m ready to seriously follow this path.
I have the deepest respect for our advances in modern medicine, but I want to put the majority of my energy into prevention for the rest of my life as a doctor.
As an Ayurvedic health counsellor via the Bech Academy for Classical Ayurveda I understand many Ayurvedic principles of disease aetiology and pathogenesis to effectively treat, as well as manage imbalances.
As a doctor and general practitioner I fully understand and can incorporate western anatomy, physiology and pathology.
This leads to effectively functioning as an integrated medical specialist in both western medicine and the ancient knowledge of Ayurveda.
To learn this type of science properly, you have to start practicing it.
I’m now open for the several modules of consultations, please see Consultations.
